Member limits are inclusive: Starter up to 50, Club from 51 to 200, Performance from 201 to 500. Larger clubs need an Enterprise quote. Subscription prices exclude payment-processing fees. Paid plans require a separate checkout after setup; choosing a plan here does not start a charge or a free trial.

What should we budget?

For example, a 100-member club falls within the Club plan: £29 a month, or £348 across 12 monthly payments. Use the calculator for your actual member count. Time saved depends on your existing processes; we do not assume a measured saving.

What about payment fees?

The subscription pays for Swimly. Collecting membership fees has separate payment-provider costs, which depend on your payment method and agreement. Check Stripe's current pricing or your provider's quote. Processing fees are not included in the totals above.

What if we need to leave?

Club administrators can download an export in Settings, under Data and leaving Swimly, and request offboarding. Export before the agreed deactivation date. Cancelling the Swimly subscription and cancelling your club's payment-provider mandates are separate steps; review both before leaving.

How can we assess it together?

Walk through a billing month, a joining enquiry and an attendance register with your committee. Agree who handles exceptions and check that each person can complete their own tasks. Print the treasurer summary to support that discussion.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about Swimly pricing and billing.

Is the Starter plan really free?
Yes. The Starter subscription is free for clubs with up to 50 members. Payment-processing fees still apply if you collect member payments. No credit card is required to create a club. You can use it for as long as you like.
What does the subscription cover?
Swimly charges a monthly subscription within each member band. Payment-provider processing fees are separate. Compare the subscription and your expected collection fees together when preparing a committee budget.
Can I switch between plans at any time?
Absolutely. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your club dashboard. When upgrading, you get immediate access to the new features. When downgrading, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Are there any per-member fees?
No. Every plan has a flat monthly rate regardless of how many members you have within your tier. We believe swim clubs should not be penalised for growing.
How does billing work?
Plans are billed monthly by Direct Debit or card payment. You can cancel at any time and your access continues until the end of the billing period. We do not lock you into annual contracts.
What happens if my club grows beyond the member limit?
We will notify you when you are approaching your plan's member limit. You can upgrade to the next tier at any time. We will never cut off access or disable features without giving you plenty of notice.
Do you offer discounts for annual billing?
We are planning to introduce annual billing with a discount in the future. For now, all plans are billed monthly to keep things simple and flexible.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Direct Debit (via Stripe) and all major credit and debit cards. Direct Debit is the simplest option for UK clubs as payments are collected automatically each month.
